Guest Blogging & Spring Break Trip

Check out my guest blog over at Machine Quilting Unlimited!

We're just back from a 4 day trip to NYC. Though I've visited several times in the past, I've only spent the night once before (way back in 9th grade when our Jr. High chorus sang at St. Pat's). This trip was a very different experience than a day trip to say the least.

We hit many of the "must see" sights - the Guggenheim, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Mama Mia!, and the Museum of Natural History. I went to Mood Fabrics, was overwhelmed, and left pretty quickly. I'd definitely go again if I had a specific project in mind, but otherwise it was just too much to take in.

I took many family photos, and *many* photos of reflections. Here's one of my favorites (blogger is not letting me upload more photos at the moment):

It was a great trip, but I'm happy to be back in the green grass of home!
